TERMS OF USE:

It is your responsibility to read these Terms of Use before using Veedow.com (hereinafter just "Veedow"", "We", "Us", or "Website"). By using the Website you agree with these Terms of Use. The Website, hosted at the address www.veedow.com, is owned by Veedow Limited, a private company registered in England and Wales. Veedow is a registered trademark of Veedow Ltd. All the graphics, logos, designs, page headers, button icons, scripts, and other service names are property of Veedow Ltd.

Use of the Website

As a condition to using Veedow's full services, you are required to register and select a password and screen name ("Username"). You shall provide Us with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. Failure to do so shall constitute a breach of the Terms of Use, which may result in immediate termination of your account. You may not (i) select or use as a Username a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person; (ii) use as a Username a name subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization; or (iii) use as a Username that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene. Veedow reserves the right to refuse registration of, or cancel a Username in its sole discretion. You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Veedow password as stated in our Privacy Policy.

Services are available only to individuals who are at least 14 years old. If you do not so qualify, do not attempt to register for or use the Website.

You agree that your use of the Website is for your own personal use and must not be used for any commercial purpose. You may only submit content you own or create or which you have written permission to post. You agree not to place any libellous, defamatory, illegal or offensive material on the Website.

By using our website you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and assignable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display any public content submitted by you throughout the world in any media.

In the spirit of a good use of the service we ask all users to act in good faith, never to harass others or to defame a business or upload material that the community may find offensive or abusive. You agree not to spam the community or spread any malicious software that may harm other users' computers. You also agree not to use software, such as robots, spiders and scrapers, to harvest information from the site.

Merchants

If you are a merchant you may promote your business on Veedow by creating your own advertisement on the Website. You are required to register to the Service as an advertiser. Please refer to our Business Terms of Use for more information.

Community

We do not actively monitor the community nor exercise an active editorial control over User Generated Content ("UGC") or the content of any third party sites, comments or other material created or accessible through our website. As a result, you may be exposed to content that you find offensive, objectionable or otherwise in conflict with these Terms of Use. To create an effective community we can all enjoy, we rely on users to inform us of abusive behaviour and offensive user content using the provided tools.

    Because we want to ensure that everyone has a great and safe time on Veedow, you agree not to use the Website and its services to:
  • Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate other user's legal rights;
  • Create or transmit any defamatory, offensive, or obscene material or engaging in activities which would cause offence to others on grounds of race, culture, religion, creed or sex
  • Create or transmit any material that threatens or encourages bodily harm or the destruction of property or would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability
  • Submit content or comments linking to affiliate programs, multi-level marketing schemes, or off-topic content
  • Distribute surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters or other communications in the nature of spam
  • Make fraudulent offers to sell or buy goods or services
  • Use software agents to automatically harvest information from the site without our express written permission
  • Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material on our website.

This list only serves to provide examples and is not an exclusive list of the type of misuses of conduct that may result in the restriction, suspension or termination of your access to the Website.

Control

Veedow uses reasonable endeavours to monitor the Website but cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any statement, opinion, or advice made on the Website or for any libellous, defamatory, illegal or offensive conduct by any customer. You agree to notify Us of any such conduct which comes to your notice.

We do our best to ensure that information on the site is correct but in no circumstance do we accept any liability whatsoever for error or omission.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Veedow against all claims, damages, costs or other expenses which arise directly or indirectly out of or from your unauthorised use of the Website, its services and any other materials contained on the Website.

You must keep your personal password secret at all times and notify us immediately you become aware of its use by a third party, not least as this clause means you will be legally responsible for anything they do using your Username (including posting malicious, illegal or unlawful content that may incur you with liability for the payment of damages as well as jeopardise your ability to enjoy the benefits of our website).

Termination

Your right to use the Website will be suspended or terminated immediately without notice by Veedow if in its sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Use.

Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content you own has been used on Veedow in a way that violates your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please provide Us with the following information:

  • An electronic or physical signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest
  • A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed
  • A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement by you (made under penalty of perjury) that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised and that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorised to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf and have proof of such authorisation and title to such rights.

Miscellaneous

There will be occasions when the Website will be interrupted whether for maintenance, upgrades and emergency repairs or otherwise and you agree that Veedow shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Website. Veedow is not responsible for any disruption whatever inherent in the operation of the Internet and World Wide Web including viruses or otherwise.

Veedow reserves the right to amend and/or vary these Terms of Use from time to time in its entire discretion. We will post a message on your profile to warn you about any significant change that should occur.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use and any contracts made under them shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales whose courts shall be the non-exclusive courts of competent jurisdiction.
